At Healthy Tri-County, we are committed to addressing the critical intersections between race, health, and equity. Our "Conversations on Race and Health Equity" initiative is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, promote understanding, and drive actionable change within our communities.

For our fall conversation, we are excited to welcome Audrey KS Lane and Craig Logan from the E3 Foundation! Their talk will be entitled: Equity Matters: Co-Creation for the Win. Join us on September 25th for a dynamic conversation about equitable community engagement and advocacy.

About the Initiative

Our Conversations on Race and Health Equity bring together community members, health professionals, policymakers, and advocates to explore and address the systemic issues that contribute to health disparities. We provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to share their experiences, insights, and solutions.

What to Expect

  • Engaging Speaker: Engage in thought-provoking discussions led by experts in the fields of health, equity, and social justice. These forums provide a platform for participants to ask questions, share experiences, and gain new perspectives.

  • Networking: We believe that we are only stronger together. That is why at all of our events we include ample time for participants to connect with other like-minded professionals so we can continue to improve our work united. 

Our Goals

  • Raise Awareness: Highlight the impact of systemic racism and social determinants of health on healthcare access and outcomes.

  • Amplify Voices: Ensure that the perspectives and experiences of marginalized communities are heard and valued.

  • Promote Action: Develop and share actionable strategies to address health disparities and promote equity within our region.
