What are the Days of Caring? 

Days of Caring is a 24-year tradition in the Tri-County area, where Trident United Way brings together hundreds of nonprofit agencies and schools with thousands of volunteers for three days to improve our community. 

Trident United Way's Days of Caring is the largest community initiative in the area. We match nonprofit agencies with volunteer teams that help advance their mission and build capacity- all while strengthening partnerships and fostering community volunteerism. 

On the other days of the year, we continue to educate and empower individuals and corporations to stay connected within their communities; helping our area to improve education, financial stability and health within our own neighborhoods.
