Kerrie Hollifield, MS, RDN, SNS, is the Diabetes Project Coordinator at the Medical University of South Carolina Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness. In this role, she supports school districts in implementing policy, system, and environmental strategies to promote wellness. Previously, Kerrie worked as the first role-specific Registered Dietitian for Charleston County School District, where she implemented innovative programs, including the launch of the Harvest of the Month program. She obtained her Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Georgia, with an emphasis in community nutrition, and is nationally recognized as a School Nutrition Specialist by the School Nutrition Association. Personally, she enjoys promoting wellness within communities, supporting districts with their farm-to-school goals, as well as spending time with her husband and two young children.
